GHC™ rotor

The AFT GHC™ Rotor is a closed rotor design, well suited for OCC and kraft applications. The spiral elements of AFT GHC™ rotors direct energy to the reject end of the screening zone – where blockages and runnability problems begin, and where rotor energy serves to avert them.

By preventing the pulp from thickening, runnability is improved and energy consumption reduced. AFT’s GHC™ rotors have delivered power savings of 20 to 50% in a variety of mill installations. The AFT GHC™ rotor has been awarded EnergySmart™ certification by an independent authority for its energy efficiency.
