GHC rotor
The AFT GHC Rotor is a closed rotor design, well suited for OCC and kraft applications. The spiral elements of AFT GHC rotors direct energy to the reject end of the screening zone – where blockages and runnability problems begin, and where rotor energy serves to avert them.
By preventing the pulp from thickening, runnability is improved and energy consumption reduced. AFT’s GHC rotors have delivered power savings of 20 to 50% in a variety of mill installations. The AFT GHC rotor has been awarded EnergySmart certification by an independent authority for its energy efficiency.
